Montie was a spiritual man who practiced the presence of God in his life. He was a long-time friend of Bill W. and loved the fellowship and friends he made for over 22 years.

He enjoyed trout fishing and traveling. He loved his children, grandchildren and his dogs. He was a devoted husband to his wife Mickey and his favorite time was the time he spent with her.

All who knew and loved him realize how blessed we were to have had him in our lives. He was always the calm voice of reason. He was forever methodical and patient and taught us all through example how much of a gift life is. He played a part in teaching so many how to live life better.

May we all remember, from his favorite quote, "It is not the destination but the journey".
