~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Virginia left her earthly body on July 11th, 2019 and her soul and spirit went to her Heavenly home to dwell with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ forever, at the age of 89 years, 3 months, and 3 days.
She was born on April 8th, 1930 to Raymond E. Simpson and T. Violet Bozarth-SImpson in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. When Virginia was three years old, her family moved to Tulsa where she grew up. Virginia only had one sibling, a sister Betty Louise born November 4th 1926.
Growing up in Tulsa, Virginia attended elementary schools Owen and Emerson, Kindergarten through 2nd grade and Josh Burroughs - 3rd through 6th grades. While at John Burroughs, she made friends who remained so all her life. She attended Roosevelt Junior High and Central High School, graduating in May 1948.
When Virginia was a baby, her mother placed her on the Cradle Roll at First Christian Church in Bartlesville. Virginia was dedicated to the Lord Jesus while she was at John Burroughs Elementary School in Tulsa. The church across the street, Cincinnati Avenue Christian Church offered a Bible Study at the church for students during their library Class time. Virginia loved it. Soon it became the family's church. Virginia gave her life to Jesus and was baptized at Cincinnati Avenue Christian Church at the age of 14. On March 3, 1951 she was married at her church to Camillo Favaro, Jr. To this marriage were born two children: a son Camillo Favaro the third on December 24, 1951 and a daughter Connie Lee Favaro on August 12, 1954.
Her lifetime of work experiences included Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, Oral Roberts University, Hillcrest Medical Center, The Williams Companies, Co-Owner of Cam's Tire Center, a family business, and Central Vo-Tech school.
Her first job was as a mail clerk at ONG, Advancing on to Customer Accounting and Customer Service. Later positions were Executive Secretary and Supervisor.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Harold Congdon, whom she married on April 9, 1993, in Mannford, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her children and their families. They all were her life. She cherished every minute and every memory she had with them. She loved signing every card and note to them with "My Love, FOREVER."
