The following was lovingly written by Kayla's family...

Kayla Lee Gregor Thetford was a loving mother, sister, daughter, niece, and friend.
She was called home on February 23 rd , 2022 to the loving arms of Jesus Christ.
Kayla was 34 years old and had spent the last 4 years of her life being a beacon of love and a living example of a miracle.

Kayla was born September 27, 1987 to Debra and Dale Gregor Jr and became the older sister to her brother Keith. Kayla achieved one of her most prized goals when she had her three wonderful boys, Zander, Zaiden, and Zadok. Her love for her boys was a driving force for everything that she did and every decision she made. Friends and family were very important to her but there was nothing that she would not do for her three Z's.

Growing up Kayla loved to play basketball and baseball and was always either listening to music or singing her favorite songs. At a young age she began cooking and never stopped. She could take a simple recipe and turn it into a fabulous dish that you would want to eat over and over. She never met someone she did not like and always accepted them regardless of their circumstances. Kayla loved playing practical jokes on her family but especially her brother. The one thing that would be said about her if you asked anyone that knew her was, she had a smile that would chase the rain away. It would light up the room and you could not help but smile with her.

Some of Kayla's greatest joys came from being room mom for her boys at school. She was always the first to be up there for their school parties and functions. She was a dedicated mom and would spend hours teaching and coaching her boys how to play baseball, basketball, and soccer. She never missed a game or practice. She was always encouraging to the boys and loved to get on the floor to play games and spend time with them whenever possible.

After her strokes 4 years ago, that love she shared with them grew and shined like a beacon in a storm. You never saw her without one of the boys with her and an attitude that she could still do anything she wanted to do. Over the years we witnessed her finding new ways to play old games such as Chicken Foot, Farkle, and Phase 10 as well as resuming cooking with her family.

Kayla being the type of person that looks for the good in everything has continued that in her homecoming. She made the decision that she wanted to continue spreading God's word and blessings during this time and became an organ donor. When Kayla loves, she loves with everything she has and everything that she is.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 pm on February 26 th , 2022 at Olive First Baptist Church, 9372 S 433 rd W Ave, Drumright, OK 74030. Kayla is survived by her children, Zander, Zaiden, and Zadok. Parents Debra and Dale Gregor Jr, Brother Keith Gregor, Grandparents Rita Prophet, Gary Sunby, Dale Gregor Sr and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
