Services were held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2016

at First United Methodist Church,
Mannford, Oklahoma.
Interment followed with full military honors at
Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

James Colbert was called home while peacefully surrounded by his family January 19, 2016. James was born Feb 9, 1944 to Atha (Jack) & Willean Colbert. James taught & coached high school football prior to joining the Army National Guard where he retired after serving 35 plus years.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bobby Colbert, son James Colbert, Jr. and granddaughter Triana Thomas. He is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home, daughter Angela Thomas, sons Jeff Colbert, Chris Mantooth, and Brent Mantooth, seven grandchildren, sisters Roberta Wright
& husband Herb, Charlene Wall & husband Bob, brothers Sonny Colbert & wife Sharon, Cletus Colbert and wife Cindy, Eddie Colbert, sister-in-law Carolyn Yeoman and husband Byron and numerous nieces & nephews. James grew to love fishing as a young boy and was most happy living on Keystone Lake where he was able to take his grandchildren fishing to his hearts desire. Services will be 10:00 am Sat. Jan. 23 at First United Methodist Church in Mannford, OK with interment at 1:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK. Visitation will be Friday Jan 22 at Mannford Funeral Home from 1 to 6.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK
or to the American Cancer Society.
