It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack Clarence Martin.

 Born on March 31, 1935 in Wetumka, OK. 

Jack left us on the 9th of June, 2026, in Tulsa, OK. 

With Jack’s departure, 

we remember a life lived with immense devotion and dedication. 

Jack was known as “Jackie” as a child.


Jack was predeceased by his parents Clarence & Goldie Martin, 

daughter, Donna Lynn Sisney, great-great grandson Benjamin Stephen Landrum, 

sister Betty Riddle and brother Johnnie Martin.


He is survived by his wife, Betty Martin of the home;

 children Beth Ann & Patrick Friedl of Tulsa, OK; 

Jeannine L. Martin of Sand Springs, OK; 

Richard Lee & Jeannene Martin of Fairview, TX; 

Grandchildren, Nikki & Scott Landrum of Owasso, OK; 

Ben & Marci Sisney of Austin, TX;

 Ryan & Kate Friedl of Broken Arrow, OK; 

Rebecca & Sean Proctor of Kellyville, OK; 

Carl & Tasha Friedl of Tulsa, OK; 

Melissa & Ryan Steil of Terrell, TX; 

Garrett & Bryn Martin of Norfolk, VA; 

Connor & Aubrey Martin of Fairview, TX 

and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Jack lived most of his early life in Wetumka, OK. 

His family moved to Safford, AZ in 1951 

and then back to Okmulgee, OK where he graduated high school May 1954.

 He joined the Air Force in January 1955 and 

served for 12 years receiving his Honorable Discharge in March 1967.

 While serving, he met his wife, Betty Mathew, in Albany, GA

 and they married on July 16, 1956.

 Jack and Betty started their civilian life in Tulsa, OK

 and then moved to Mannford, OK where they lived for 46 years.

 Jack went to school at Spartan School of Aeronautics after his military discharge.

 With his A&P license and Air Force experience working as an airplane mechanic,

 Jack went to work for American Airlines and retired after 30 years.


Jack’s father owned a machine shop and that is where Jack and his brother learned machinist skills. 

With these skills, Jack set up an area in his garage to work on rifles and shotguns.

 Jack was a lifetime member of the NRA and participated in many shooting competitions.

 With these competitions, Jack and Betty traveled across the United States in their RV or travel trailer.

 Jack’s favorite competition was black powder long range cartridge rifle which he won numerous awards.

 Jack enjoyed customizing a rifle to meet his shooting requirements.


Jack made a deep impression on the people he knew. 

All his family will tell you that he was a positive influence in their lives. 

He was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. 

Jack’s presence will be sorely missed by all of his family.
