They were married 59 years before his passing.

Ivan worked as a Fitter/Welder.
He loved to make homemade gifts from
wood and steel.
Ivan made a beautiful wrought iron
loveseat and table
for his mother-in-law.
He built his own house in 1974.
He was a lover of the outdoors
and the river.
He loved prospecting for gold.

Ivan belonged to the L.D.M.A. ,
The Lost Dutchman's Mining Association.
" It was never about finding the gold,
but the adventure of looking for the gold."
He did find 7oz. of gold once.

Ivan was a fixer of broken toys,
and hurt feelings.
He gave the strongest hugs,
told the silliest jokes,
and gave the craziest grins.

He never missed a day to tell Marcia he loved her.
Ivan pass September 24th at St John's hospital.
Ivan's last words before he passed out were
"I love you, I'll love you forever!"
"Ivan You're In the Arms of Jesus now.
We love you, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa."
