Faye M. Pettyjohn, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Cimarron Pointe Care Center in Mannford, Oklahoma. She was born on May 8, 1937 in Thayer, Kansas to Cecil Bernard and Wilma Edna (Grayson) Dozier. She married Milton "Frank" Pettyjohn on June 26, 1954. She worked as a homemaker. She and Frank owned La Petite Pastry Shop where she baked delectable sweets and was a master cake decorator. She served Fredonia Public Schools as the main bread baker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to church and cooking big meals!

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Wilma Dozier – her husband, Milton "Frank" Pettyjohn - her siblings, Dora Page, Jim Dozier, Nelda Cook, Mary Shelton, Bertha Radabaugh, Betty Farnsworth and Joe Dozier.

Faye is survived by her siblings, Alfred "Bill" & wife Phyllis Dozier of Independence, Kansas, Cecil Dozier of Topeka, Kansas, Lucille Dozier of Great Bend, Kansas, Richard and wife Vicky Dozier of Independence, Kansas, and Dwight and wife Dottie Dozier of Great Bend, Kansas – children, Angela and husband Don Doane of Independence, Kansas, Linda Pettyjohn of Wichita, Kansas, Stacy Pettyjohn of Wichita, Kansas, Curtis and wife Amy Pettyjohn of Terlton, Oklahoma, Faye Pettyjohn of Wichita, Kansas, Candee and husband Ricky Loredo of Belleview, Nebraska, and Roman Pettyjohn of Tulsa, Oklahoma – grandchildren, DJ, Michael, Adrian, Jonathan, Christa, Brianna , David, Eliana, Trevon, Isaiah, Franklin, Dayton, Audreigh, Vance, Olivia, Scarlet, and Beau – and great grandchildren, Juliana, Terrel, Caelum, and Ace – and numerous nieces, nephews and greats.
