Dorothy June Vance Trevino was born on June 20, 1930 in Bellflower, California to Willard Preston Vance and Cornelia Delores Post. Dorothy joined her heavenly father on August 29, 2012 surrounded by her children.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Kenneth, Dick and Joe, and her daughter Emily Louise Trevino.She is survived by her four children, Frank Trevino (Emilie Jo) of Broomfield, Co, Kenneth Trevino (Leanne) of Temecula, Ca, Susanna Connelly (David) of Mannford, Ok, and Nathan Trevino (Pam) of Mannford, Ok. Dorothy is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was known for her good sense of humor, fun loving spirit, faith in God, and friendship that she offered all. Dorothy was always willing to lend a helping hand and offer kind words just when you needed it the most.

Dorothy will be missed by her friends and family, but made it known that when she passed she would be with her heavenly father in a place more beautiful and glorious than any of us on earth could imagine.

A memorial service was held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in Cleveland, OK with Bishop Mike Tiner officiating. At Dorothy's request, she was cremated and her family will bury her cremains in the Westminister Cemetery, Westminsiter, California, at a later date.
