Darla Ann Cain, loving wife, mother
and grandmother.
She was born and raised in Hobart, Oklahoma
graduating from Hobart High School in 1953.
At the age of 18 in 1954,
she married Rondal Cain
and they spent 60 years together
until he passed in 2014.
She was a long-time resident of Yukon,
she moved to Mannford in 2017 and
later to Tulsa in 2022.
Darla loved bright, cheery colors.
She was an avid decorator
for almost every holiday.
She passed down her love to decorate and
celebrate holidays to her
daughter and granddaughter.
She also enjoyed reading.
She loved Hallmark type books, Nora Roberts,
also mysteries.
You could find her reading almost anything
except for sci-fi or fantasy.
Sewing, including quilting,
was another one of her hobbies.
She also found happiness when
cooking and baking,
which she was very good at!
Her family loved her
Pineapple Upside Down Cake.
She made one every year for
her daughter's birthday.
It will be one of the many things missed.
Throughout the years,
she has been a member of
several Church of Christ,
and many friends have been made
through being part of a church family.
One of her favorite past times was meeting
every Friday night for
hamburgers with her friends
from Cherokee Hills Church of Christ
in Oklahoma City.
She was currently a member of
Mannford Church of Christ.
Darla and her husband, Rondal were
both coffee drinkers.
They would drink coffee together and
watch the evening news every day.
Her family believes she passed in the evening
so she could get to Heaven in time to
watch the news with him.
She will be missed by everyone who knew
and loved her but thankful she is in
Heaven where they can see her again.
