Charlotte Marie (Fanning) Kuntz
Charlotte Marie (Fanning) Kuntz passed away at Clarehouse in Tulsa, OK on Thursday, June 8, 2017. Charlotte was born in California on February 26, 1963. Charlotte, her older sister Elizabeth, and their Mom Sherry met Jerry Charles "Nubbin" Fanning (the only dad they ever knew) when Charlotte was not quite a year old. He brought them to Oklahoma a couple of months later making Oklahoma home to Charlotte.
Charlotte loved people. She was a kind hearted, gentle and tender soul from the day she was born. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She never met a stranger. Charlotte was extremely in tune with the animal kingdom. She loved dogs, cats, horses, chickens, opossums. You name it, at one time or another she probably had them for pets or rescues or something.
Charlotte became acquainted with Doug Kuntz about 20 years ago. They continued a friendship that grew into love over the years. Doug and Charlotte were married on April 30, 2011.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her daddy Jerry Charles "Nubbin" Fanning.
She is survived by her husband Doug Kuntz of the home, mother Sherry Bishop, "Mama Lee Lee" Fanning, sister Elizabeth Ann Graham & husband Larry and brothers Jesse Wayne Fanning and Joseph Dale Fanning. Charlotte was never blessed with any biological children of her own. She is survived by: Saydee Grace Smith of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Shelby Louise Kuntz of St Louis, Missouri; Kerensa Delores Price of New Jersey; and Zachary John Kuntz of Cleveland, Oklahoma. Plus other multiple children and grandchildren she inherited through the years that she has claimed as her own and has loved and cherished always. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Natasha Mankin & husband Patrick, Rachelle Grant & husband Matthew, Tracy Jennings & wife Valerie, Scott Jennings & wife Carissa, Kamry Fanning and Zarek Fanning. Additionally she is survived by great nieces and nephews: Chloe "Knothead" & Eli "Tater" Mankin, Lyla & Wyatt Jennings, Kane Jennings and Eleanor "Jo-Bil", plus many, many more who claim her as their Aunt "Bones".
Charlotte chose cremation and no service. Mannford Funeral Home is handling her final arrangements.
