Charles Loyd Peeples, 92, of Mannford, OK went to be with the Lord, September 20, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Charles was born August 11, 1920 in Strawn, Texas to parents, William & Bessie Peeples. He married his lovely wife, Jean, on August 29, 1941 in Fairview, OK. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired Engineer from the Corps Of Engineers.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jean of the home, children, Gloria & Jesse Mauck of Tulsa, OK, Charlotte & Ralph Henderson of Mannford, OK, Melinda Smithof Midwest City, OK, Chuck & Sandi Peeples Inola, OK, nineteen grandchildren, and twenty four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00AM Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Lake Church (North East Corner 48/51 Junction) in Mannford, OK with Pastor Bob Haase officiating under the direction of Mannford Funeral Home. At Charles' request, he was cremated and his cremains will be buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, in Mannford, at a later date. Memorial gifts may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association 6465 S.
