*Family & Friends gathered to visit in the fellowship hall 1:00-2:00pm
*Service followed at 2:00pm
At The Family's request, Charlie was cremated
and his family will care for his cremains.

Charles "Charlie" M. McGrew Jr ,59, passed away from this life July 24,2022 in Kingfisher, OK. Charlie was born on July 2,1963, in Jenks, Oklahoma the son of Charles and Goldie (Stroud) McGrew. The family resided in Idabel, Ok for many years. In 1976 they moved to Cleveland, Ok where he received his education. After high school he received a full ride scholarship to Connors State Jr. College where he played baseball for 2 years. Then transferred with a full ride to Southeastern University for 1 year, when he was later drafted in 86' to the Milwaukee Brewers, 87' Stockton,89' Modesto A's.
In 1984 Charlie had his first-born child Stacy with Melinda Conn. After his baseball career he returned to Cleveland. He began working at Laureate in Tulsa, later he began his career as a phone technician at Cimtel Telephone Co. for 20 years. On August 22,1992, Charlie married Rhonda Soudek. For the second time he became a father to his three-year-old son, Daniel. In 1996 Charlie became a father for the third time to his daughter, Carlie. They resided in Cleveland for many years.
He became active in the little league baseball and softball programs, where he coached Daniel, Carlie, and many others. He loved to share his love of baseball by coaching his kids and many others. Charlie's passions in life were playing baseball, hunting, fishing, driving fast, telling stories, and laughing with friends. He enjoyed cooking and never missed a homemade meal. From the beginning of September to end December if he wasn't at work, he was in the woods with his best friend David Carnes, he was true outdoorsman. He enjoyed showing the importance of safety and conservation while hunting and fishing to his kids, he loved spending time with them outdoors.
He was so proud of his children. He loved his family and most of all his children.
Charlie is proceeded in death by his parents Charles and Goldie. He is survived by his daughter Stacy and Anthony Palermo of Arlington, Tx., son Daniel and Jennifer McGrew of Terlton, Ok., daughter Carlie McGrew of Stillwater, Ok. Two grandchildren Camdyn and Silas. Brothers: Nathan and JoAnn McGrew of Cleveland, OK., Israel and Jennifer McGrew of Bixby, OK., & J.J McGrew of Jenks, Ok.
As well as a host of many other family and friends.
