"Boyd Pugh" 84, of Mannford, Oklahoma passed away January 6, 2015.
He was born to the late William and Mae Pugh, January 24, 1930, in Kinta, OK and also attended school there. After serving two tours in Korea, Boyd moved to Tulsa, OK. He married Bobbie (Wilson) Pugh in 1954, and they lived together in Tulsa, before relocating to Mannford, OK in 1969.
Boyd was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He spent his working career in the foundry industry. Besides his family, his great passions were raising cattle, thoroughbred horses, and gardening.
Boyd was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Pugh, of Mannford, OK. He is survived by a brother, Charles Pugh of Mannford, OK; sister and brother-in-law Geraldine and Bill Ragle of Cleveland, OK; sister and brother-in-law Lacretia and James Crow of Sand Springs, OK; five children: Michael Pugh of Sapulpa, OK; Charlott Oliver of Sand Springs, OK; Arenda Yancey of Fort Smith, AR; Douglas Pugh of Sand Springs, OK; and Donna Rader of Tulsa, OK. He also is survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 10:00AM Saturday, January 10, 2015 at
Crossroads Community Bible Church in
Mannford, Oklahoma.
At Boyd's request, he will be cremated and his cremains will be buried with his wife, Bobbie, in Oak Hill Cemetery, at a later date
