Bobby Linn Black was born in Stroud, OK, on April 24, 1930, and joined his Lord and Savior on January 30, 2016. Bob served in the Army during the Korean conflict and reached the rank of Sergeant. After being discharged he married Jo Ann Black in Yuma, AZ, on May 22, 1952. Bob moved with his family to Mannford, OK in 1964 when the town was relocated after Keystone Dam was constructed. He opened Lakeside Barber Shop and owned and operated the business until his retirement in 2013 at the age of 82. Lakeside Barber Shop remains the oldest business establishment still in operation in Mannford, OK.
Bob was always active in the community serving in the Mannford Lions Club, as the first President of the Mannford Quarterback Club (now Booster Club) and shared Citizen of the Year honors with his friend Norman Swezey. He loved to golf and played many years at the Drumright Golf Club. Bob also was an avid Mannford Pirate Football fan and spent many Friday nights cheering for the team. He also served on the Mannford Volunteer Fire Department from 1967 until 1987.
Bobby Black leaves behind his wife, Jo Ann Black, of the home, Steven and Marti Black of Houston, TX, Sue and Eric Exendine, of Claremore, OK, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Bob was a longtime member of Mannford First United Methodist Church.
Services honoring his life was held at the church on February 2, 2016, at 11:00 am.

A Memorial Service was held at 11:00AM Tuesday, February 2, 2016
at the First United Methodist Church in Mannford, Oklahoma.
At the family's request, Bob was cremated and his cremains were buried at the
Fort Gibson National Cemetery, in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
