Alvin T. James was born on June 14, 1954, in Germany.  
He grew up in West Texas and 
joined the U.S. Army at the age of 17. 
 He served in the Army for 14 years.  
After leaving the Army, he started driving a truck
and he drove all across the country.  
He settled down in Mannford to be around his dad.
